We offer options of just 1 lesson however most of our guest decide to complete our 5 lesson course where we will teach you step by step everything you need to know to be up and riding waves. For the advanced surfers we can also work on technique, tricks or offer surf trips to some of the best surf locations over the island. Basic Surf Lesson Structure - each lesson is 2.5 hours
- 10 minutes - Surf safety and theory.
- 20 minutes - Beach practicals
- 50 minutes - Go surfing
- 10 minutes - Drink break
- 50 minutes - Back into the ocean for some more surfing
- Last 10 minutes - Pack-up and return to the surf school.

Identify surfing hazards, Correct mounting technique, Parts of the surfboard, Correct surfboard positioning, Safe surfboard handling, Correct paddling technique, Correct standing technique, Dismounting a surfboard safely, Safe surfboard handling, Learning how to enter the ocean safely, Catching and riding a white wave.
Lesson 2
Wave identification, Standing turtle rolls - nose and tail, Types of wind direction, Deceleration and acceleration moves, How waves are generated, Catching white waves unassisted, Different surf conditions.
Lesson 3

Lesson 4
How to read surf reports, Full turtle rolls, Using surf cams, Catching green wave's, Surf Etiquette, Trimming and riding green wave's.

If you are able to come to our Seminyak office this is the best option. Come in and we can advise on all of our tour and activity range while taking payment and issuing your tour pack.
