There are many options for supermarkets and grocery stores in Bali based upon your needs and location there is guaranteed to be somewhere relatively close to you.
Many tourists are familiar with the numerous mini markets and circle k stores however these are not practical for big shopping and much more expensive. The larger supermarkets stock many western food items as well as local options, fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, cheese, and some even have the typical western style deli counters. Bali Grocery Stores and Supermarkets

Bintang Supermarket
Location: Jl. Raya Seminyak No.17, Seminyak, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali Previously this was one of the largest supermarkets in the tourist strip centrally positioned in lower Seminyak until a fire in Jan 2020. There is now a medium store behind the old one and new large one under construction. This is still complete with all staple ingredients, housewares, fresh produce, deli, chemist and liquor sections.

Carrefour
Location: Jl. Sunset Road, Pemogan, Kec. Denpasar Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali One of the largest supermarkets in Bali just out of the main Kuta tourist section on Jalan Sunset. This location is complete with staple ingredients, housewares, fresh produce, deli, chemist and liquor. This shop is situated in a large complex with several other stores so you will have complete options when shopping here.

The Food Hall @ Sunset Star
Location: Jl. Sunset Road No.1, Kerobokan, Kabupaten Badung, Bali Located on just out of the main Seminyak tourist section on Jalan Sunset in the Sunset Star complex. This supermarket is mid-size Bali standards and has a good range of staple ingredients, housewares, fresh produce, small deli. It is in a complex with Burger King, Ace Hardware, Liquor Store, and other smaller shops.

Bali Jaya Mart
Location: Jl. Raya Kuta No.132, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali Bali Jaya Mart is located just near the intersection of Jalan Raya Kuta and Jalan Legian, inland side of Kuta Square near the traditional food markets. Here you will find a complete range of staple ingredients, housewares, fresh produce, chemist and the liquor store sell some of the best price spirits in all of Bali.

Bali Deli
Location: Jl. Kunti I No.117X, Seminyak, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali Bali Deli is conveniently located just off Jalan Seminyak before Jalan Sunset. Once a very complete and busy shop this store in recent times has seen a reduced customer number and also stock. They have basic supplies of staple ingredients, housewares, limited fresh produce, small deli and a small liquor area.

Coco Supermarket Seminyak
Location: Jl. Laksamana (Kayu Aya) No. 65-67, Seminyak, Kabupaten Badung, Bali Coco Supermarket is not like a normal small Coco Mart, they are a medium size store and this one is located very conveniently right in Jalan Laksmana opposite Lafavella Nightclub on the party and restaurant strip. They have all basic staple ingredients, housewares, fresh produce, deli, and liquor section open till late.

Frestive Supermarket Kerobokan
Location: Jl. Raya Kerobokan, Banjar, Taman, Kabupaten Badung, Bali Frestive is located on the main road of Kerobokan just after exiting Seminyak North West via Jalan sunset or Jalan Kayu Aya / Laksmana. Location: Jl. Sunset Road No.29, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali Grand Lucky is located just out of the main Kuta tourist area on Jalan Sunset near the lights of Jalan Raya Kuta & Jalan Imam Bonjol. It is a large supermarket for Bali standard with staple ingredients, housewares, fresh produce, deli, and basic liquor sales. This is a sole store with no other shops in the complex.

Foodmart Beachwalk Shopping Centre
Location: Beachwalk - Jl. Pantai Kuta, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali Located in the basement of Beachwalk shopping complex which is conveniently right on Kuta beach near the border or Kuta and Legian. This is a modern shop with medium size and a good range of all basic items. These include staple ingredients, housewares, fresh produce, and limited liquor sales.

Location: Jl. Petitenget No.18, Kerobokan, Kabupaten Badung, Bali Located roughly half way along Jalan Petitenget near Ling Lings restaurant is Pepito Petitenget. Pepito stocks a good assortment of all basic products including staple ingredients, housewares, fresh produce, deli section, and quite limited liquor sales. A good option in the busy nightclub and bar area of Petitenget.

Foodmart Gourment Kuta Square
Location: Kuta Square, Jl. Tegal Wangi No.1, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali Foodmart is located in the heart of Kuta in Kuta Square. The store is accessible from the ground floor of the old Matahari building which closed in 2020. The store is mid-size with all basic products including staple ingredients, housewares, fresh produce, deli section, and quite limited liquor sales. A little pricy due to location.

Kartika Plaza, Badung Regency, Bali Located in the Lippo Mall Complex in South Kuta just before Tuban and the airport you will find this store in the basement of the shopping complex. A mid-size store with all basic products including staple ingredients, housewares, fresh produce, deli section, and alcohol and liquor sales. Good food hall close by also.

Japanese theme and many Japanese pre-prepared foods and ingredients. Also, great fresh meats and vegetables. Location: Jl. Kediri No.36A, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali Located in lower Kuta close to Tuban and the airport is Pepito Kuta set in a very similar way as many of the pepito stores. Here there is also a café and bakery in store though a nice touch. A good selection of all basic products including staple ingredients, housewares, fresh produce, deli section, & quite limited liquor sales.

Ayu Nadi Wholesale & Retail
Location: Jl. Dewi Sartika, Tuban, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali This is an older style supermarket that is located in Tuban near to the airport, it has no AC but some very good promo prices. The supermarket has all basic products including staple ingredients, housewares, fresh produce. There is an old children’s play area close by and additionally local food carts near the complex.

Pasar Taman Sari (Pasar Kerobokan)
Location: Jl. Gn. Tangkuban Perahu No.1, Kerobokan Kelod, Kec. Kuta Utara, Bali This is the most complete market close to the tourism area selling vegetables, fruit, all basic produce, chicken, fish, snacks, Balinese ceremonial items, and much more. The market opens from 5 am and closes at around 11 pm. Morning is the busiest time for fresh produce purchase and after 6 pm primarily the market is for local food.

Various Fruit Shops
Location: Jl. Gn. Soputan, Padangsambian Klod, Kota Denpasar, Bali Located not far from Seminyak / Legian is Jalan Gunung Soputan. At the start of this Jalan there are many fruit shops selling all of the seasonal and also some import fruits. These are individual roadside stores however a good option if you are going to Denpasar to go this way and pick up a lot of fruit.
