Bali Cycling Tour - Greenbike Bali DownhillOne of the best ways to explore Bali is to be among the natural areas, meeting the local people, and seeing things off the standard tourist path. This is exactly what our cycling tour provides with an opportunity to enjoy the surrounds of Bali with our superb downhill bike track meaning it is suitable for all ages.
We welcome you starting with a lite breakfast or lunch and sampling some of the best coffee and tea Bali has to offer. Our tour then begins from the top of the Kintamani Area and make your way down, through forest, Asphalt Roads, Traditional Villages, and Traditional Balinese Rice Fields Architecture (Subak). Stopping along the way to learn about local food, Traditional Village life, and Balinese Home Industry (stone making & wood working). We of course ensure you have many photo opportunities along the way too. Enjoy the panorama of the mountains and the cool air, and enjoy the view of rice terraces in Ubud. Our cycling tour has a route through non-touristy area which the scenery and small villages which were just beautiful. Morning Cycling Tour
- Pick up from hotel to Kintamani ( Pick up time based on hotel location ) Ubud area pick up 8.00 – 8.30. Down south area pick up 7.30am.
- Stop over at coffee place to get coffee break with pancakes, coffee, and tea (around 9.00 – 9.30).
- After coffee break we drive up to Kintamani to take some pictures of Batur volcano and lake (10.30).
- We drive to our starting point to start the bike ride (around 11.00). We ride 25km mostly downhill.
- We have some stopping points on the way down where our guides will explain about what the guest will see on the way such as, Balinese house, temple, stone carving, rice field and Gunung raung temple.
- After bike ride we have lunch (around 13.30 – 14.00).
- Drop off back to hotel (Clients will be back in Their hotel in Ubud area around 15.30 – 16.00, Down south area around 17.00 – 17.30).
Afternoon Cycling Tour
- Pick up from hotel to Kintamani ( Pick up time based on hotel location ) Ubud area pick up 10.00 – 10.30. Down south area pick up 09.00 – 09.15.
- Stop at coffee place to get coffee break with coffee, and tea (around 11.00 – 11.30).
- After coffee break we drive up to Kintamani to have lunch over looking Batur volcano and lake (12.00 -12.30).
- We drive to our starting point to start the bike ride (around 13.30 – 14.00). We ride 25km mostly downhill.

- After bike ride, we drop back to hotel. Clients will be back at hotel at around 17.00 in Ubud area and at 18.00 in down south area.
Some Highlights of the Day
- Lunch Break - Lunch will be served in of 2 locations based upon your selection of either the morning or afternoon schedule. Both locations are very scenic beautiful locations.
- Coffee Break - Balinese plantation for having coffee break with pancake or smoothie bowl for gluten free request served with some coffees and teas tasting overlooking green valley view. The guide will lead you to look around their garden with vary plants such as coffee, cocoa, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, spices and many more as well as to show customers how the coffee is being processed traditionally as well as chance to enjoy it with different kinds of herbal tea. There also chance to see and enjoy KOPI LUWAK (civet coffee) the most unique and expensive coffee in the world.
- Penelokan Kintamani - After enjoying such nature then we’re heading off to Penelokan Kintamani for taking some pictures of AMAZING view of GEOPARK MT BATUR CALDERA and its crater lake if you never been there as it is optional stop.
- Traditional Balinese House - Our Cycling Tour first stop is in Balinese Traditional house at Abuan Village. Our Guides would explain more detail regarding Balinese architecture. Those architecture are centuries old, this tradition influenced by Hindu religion through ancient Javanese intermediary as well as the pre-Hindu elements of native Balinese architecture
- Ubud Jungle Stop (Optional) - We ride through rural forest of ancient Taro Village. This track is offered for those who seek adventurous experience.
- Gunung Raung Temple - Gunung Raung Temple (read. Roaming Mountain Temple) is located on Taro Village, which the ancient village in Bali. This temple is the very first temple on Bali and built by Dang Hyang Resi Markandya in 8th Century on his first holy journey to Bali. This temple as well located in the middle of Bali Island.
- Rice Field Stop - Most people who have visited Bali say that the real Bali can be found where the rice grows. Part of our Bali best bike/cycling tour trip is present you to this beautiful landscape. Our guide would explain history of Balinese farming system (which called Subak).
- Hyang Api Temple - This is our last stopping point of our best bike tour Bali trip. From this point we would drive you approx. 10 minute to our lunch place (well-known Greenkubu Cafe).
